In addition to becoming a leading partner of Sustainability Hub Norway (S-HUB) and their network in Bergen, Argentum is the main sponsor of this year’s edition of the Sustainable Finance & Reporting Summit.
“S-HUB is the most ambitious network for sustainable business in Norway, with a close connection to the Norwegian School of Economics and the business community in Bergen. They are a natural partner for us,” says Joachim Høegh-Krohn, CEO of Argentum.
“I believe that private equity funds are well-positioned to influence the ESG work in the companies they have invested in because corporate governance is at the core of what our industry works with. Our follow-up of the managers in the portfolio confirms this,” he adds.
Argentum will be the leading partner in S-HUB Bergen together with, among others, Sparebanken Vest, Lerøy, Tryg, Eviny, PwC, Emisoft, Geminor, Selle & Partners and Fjordkraft.
Sixth edition of the Sustainable Finance & Reporting Summit
“S-HUB does important work in creating impact in the field of sustainability. With this collaboration, we hope to be able to shed light on the ESG work that is done in small and medium-sized companies in the unlisted market,” says Christoffer Gundersen, Senior Associate for Sustainability and Public Affairs at Argentum.
The event that Argentum is now the main sponsor of – together with Scatec, Equinor, EY, Gjensidige and Storebrand and other summit partners – will gather several hundred representatives across the Norwegian business landscape at Clarion Hotel The Hub in Oslo, 19 and 20 April.

“We look forward to supporting one of the leading events in sustainable finance and reporting in the Nordic region. New for the year is that there will now be separate sessions focusing on the unlisted market. The conference is a leading example of how S-HUB functions as a facilitator for sustainability collaboration in Norwegian business and industry,” says Gundersen.
Developing knowledge, insight, and meeting places
“Argentum places high demands on the funds they invest in and has integrated consideration for what is considered as ‘good ESG’ in its investment process. In our opinion, Argentum is future-oriented and aware of the importance of its role within sustainability and ESG. They were a desired partner for us both at this year’s Sustainable Finance & Reporting Summit, and to strengthen our regional network in Bergen,” says Andreas Friis, Founder & Executive Chair in S-HUB.
“The partnership with Argentum confirms S-HUB’s role as a business-oriented knowledge network for a more sustainable private sector. We are looking forward to working with Argentum to develop knowledge, insight and meeting places as the Sustainable Finance & Reporting Summit, focusing on sustainability reporting, strategy and investments in the unlisted market,” says Anita Bui, Head of Operations in S-HUB.
